Answers to Frequently Asked Questions…
Why is Advanced Massage Therapeutics so much less expensive than other schools?
The only thing we can think of is overhead! Our school is much smaller and the advertising budget is much less. Other schools have a receptionist and office manager… we don’t.
What makes this program different than the other schools?
You will learn a full-body massage at whatever school you attend. But, we focus in much greater detail on knowing about the muscles and the problems associated with them. Transfer students tell us we spend more time with learning massage. We focus on massage and anatomy. We also teach all the other aspects of being a therapist. We just don’t spend class time on things people should already know or can easily learn on their own.
Who teaches the classes?
Our founder, Charles Watson, teaches at least one of the two classes every week. Charles is very interested and involved in every aspect of the student’s experience at Advanced Massage Therapeutics. Another instructor will teach the other day of the week. Check out our staff page to read our instructors impressive resumes.
Once I'm a licensed therapist, can I go anywhere and practice?
The regulations of the state you move to determine the requirements for massage therapy wherever you decide to practice.
Do you accept financial aid?
We do not offer financial aid or grants; however, we offer payment plans to assist in tuition and we accept vocational rehabilitation, veterans’ benefits, and the G.I. Bill®.
Do I need to buy a massage table, or are there any other hidden costs?
No, you do not need a table. There are no hidden costs with our program. We provide several options for you to have access to our tables. If you do wish to purchase a table, we will sell you one at wholesale cost ($200-$600).
